Description
The YBX3 series low-voltage flameproof three-phase asynchronous AC induction motor is an IE3 high-efficiency core product tailored for explosive environments, with a rated voltage ≤1000V that complies with GB/T 12350-2022 low-voltage motor safety standards. It integrates flameproof safety and energy-saving performance, fully adhering to international IEC 60079-1 and Chinese GB 3836.1-2021/GB 3836.2-2021 explosion-proof standards, as well as GB 18613-2020 energy efficiency requirements, making it an ideal replacement for traditional low-voltage explosion-proof motors.
Available in rated voltages including 380V, 660V, 380/660V, and 400/690V (with customizable options like 415V/460V), the series covers power ratings from 0.12kW to 315kW, frame sizes 80 to 355, and pole numbers 2 to 10, adapting to diverse low-voltage industrial needs. Its explosion-proof ratings include Ex d IIB T4 Gb, Ex d IIC T4 Gb (for factory explosive gas environments) and Ex db I Mb (for underground coal mines), paired with an IP55 protection class (IP56/IP65/IP66 optional for harsh conditions), Class F insulation, and continuous duty (S1) design, ensuring reliable operation in ambient temperatures of -15℃ to 40℃ and altitudes ≤1000m.
Structurally, it features a fully enclosed fan-cooled (IC411) squirrel-cage rotor, robust cast iron frame with optimized heat dissipation fins, and stator windings treated with VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation) for enhanced insulation—large-frame motors (≥250) are also equipped with non-stop oil injection/drainage systems. The six-terminal junction box supports voltage switching via connecting plates, with cable entries secured by bow washers and pressure plates to maintain flameproof integrity.
The motor’s core advantages lie in dual compliance with low-voltage electrical safety and explosion-proof requirements (its flameproof enclosure passes 1.5MPa hydrostatic tests) and IE3 high efficiency, which reduces energy consumption by 10-15% compared to standard-efficiency counterparts thanks to low-loss electrical steel laminations and precision-balanced rotors. It also offers flexible adaptability with multiple mounting types (IMB3, IMB5, IMB35, etc.) and climate-specific configurations (wet tropical/anti-corrosion versions), plus reliable operation with low noise (≤58dB(A) for small frames), low vibration, and strong starting torque.
Widely used in low-voltage explosive environments such as coal mines, petrochemicals, metallurgy, and power industries, it is ideal for driving pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors, and machine tools in underground coal mine non-mining faces or factory explosive gas zones, perfectly balancing operational safety, energy savings, and regulatory compliance.
