Description
The TYP Series Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor is a high-performance variable frequency drive motor specifically designed to work in conjunction with synchronous frequency converters, available in both encoder and non-encoder configurations. Engineered with rare-earth permanent magnet materials (typically neodymium-iron-boron) embedded in the rotor, this motor delivers exceptional magnetic strength, resulting in high torque density, large starting and running overload capacity, and low operating current.
A key advantage of the TYP Series is its ultra-high efficiency (up to IE5 standard), significantly outperforming conventional induction motors by eliminating rotor copper losses—since the rotor operates synchronously with the stator magnetic field without inducing currents. It also maintains a high power factor (≥0.96) across the entire speed range, reducing power consumption and minimizing the capacity requirements of power supply equipment.
With a wide frequency range and smooth stepless speed regulation from 500rpm to 3000rpm (depending on model), the TYP PMSM ensures precise control and stable low-speed operation, making it an ideal replacement for YVP and YCT series motors. When paired with vector control inverters, it achieves millisecond-level dynamic response and ±0.1% speed accuracy, suitable for applications demanding precise motion control.
Constructed with robust design principles, this motor features low noise, low vibration, and minimal maintenance requirements due to the absence of rotor windings and slip rings.
